The wall of a gymnasium collapses due to massive earthquake in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, on June 25, 2026. At 7:30 a.m. on the same day, magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck Tohoku region, northern part of main island in the Japanese archipelago. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter was off the coast of Iwate Prefecture at the depth of about 50 kilometers, and there was no risk of tsunami.
