La Cina ha condannato all’ergastolo un cittadino statunitense di 78 anni accusato di spionaggio. John Shing-Wan Leung, residente permanente ad Hong Kong, era stato arrestato il 15 aprile 2021 dall’agenzia di controspionaggio nella città sudorientale di Suzhou. L’annuncio è arrivato dalla Corte intermedia della città senza fornire ulteriori dettagli sulle accuse.
