(Lapresse) Russia’s Daniil Medvedev returned to the top of the ATP world rankings, ahead of Germany’s Alexander Zverev. Despite an ankle injury suffered in Paris, Zverev overtakes Novak Djokovic, who falls back to third place. Spain’s Rafael Nadal remains fourth in the world. Medvedev, 26, had already occupied number the one position for two weeks, between the end of February and the beginning of March. Italian hopeful Matteo Berrettini found his victory at the Stuttgart tournament was still not enough to rise in the rankings, and the Roman player remains stuck in tenth place.
