(LaPresse) Damage is being counted in the United States after torrential rains hit a wide region from Dallas, Texas, to Las Vegas, Nevada. In Duncan, a rural Arizona town located about 200 miles from Phoenix, weekend rains collapsed an earthen levee built more than a century ago to contain the Gila River, flooding the town. About 60 residents were evacuated.
