India Heavy rain cause mudslide killing at least 19 people

Mud and rain make it difficult to use heavy machinery

(LaPresse) Workers used heavy equipment to rescue people after a mudslide in north-eastern India killed 19 people in a railway yard and left 50 missing. Soldiers joined more than 200 workers and police who used bulldozers and other equipment to rescue people buried under the debris in Noney, a city near Imphal, the capital of Manipur state.
