Lorenzo makes his debut with Ducati in Valencia testing session

Spanish MotoGP rider Jorge Lorenzo made his debut with Ducati on Tuesday, in the first day of testing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, where he won on Sunday his last race with Yamaha at the end of a 9 year spell with the Japanese manufacturer. Lorenzo, who got on track with a black Desmosedici which had only his trademark number 99 on it, made a few shakedown laps to get acquainted with a bike he never rode before and to begin working ahead of the 2017 season. Lorenzo left the pit lane on his new bike at 10.01, after being welcomed by Ducati's general manager Gigi Dall'Igna, surrounded by many photogaphers and video operators. Lorenzo won three MotoGP titles in nine years with Yamaha and he signed a 12.5 million euros two-years contract with Ducati last April.
