Carabinieri investigate death of man found decapitated in Liguria

Authorities in Liguria, north-western Italy, are investigating the death of a 68-years-old man whose decapitated body was found on Tuesday in the woods near the town of Chiavari. The head of victim, whose name was Albano Crocco, is still missing. On Friday, Carabinieri said that they are investigating on Crocco's nephew, Claudio Borgarelli, adding that "he is not the only person involved in the investigation", but only one among others. Investigators searched the home of the victim after his body was found and, during the operation, they found several knives that will be analysed by the forensics department. Meanwhile, the investigators are still looking for the head of Crocco in a wide area where the woods are very thick and where some spots are difficult to access. The authorities are investigating in many directions and are concentrating their attention to the victim's relationship in the community where he lived in, described as calm.
